How Etiquette Expert Sara Jane Ho Melds Eastern & Western Principles in Her Businesses

In this special episode of BOSSY, Katie interviews the renowned etiquette expert, Sara Jane Ho. The duo discuss how etiquette plays a role in entrepreneurship (responding to social media comments, networking) and touch upon Sara Jane’s latest venture, Antevorta, a company that utilizes traditional Chinese medicine to create products that help with women's reproductive health.

About Sara Jane:

Sara Jane Ho is the founder of China’s first etiquette school, Institute Sarita, and the daytime Emmy-nominated Mind Your Manners series on Netflix, which is a series in the same vein as a Queer Eye or Marie Kondo-style makeover show.

In it, she meets with different people and helps them improve their lives through—what else?—etiquette, whether that’s improving their confidence before they go into a job interview or getting them comfortable with networking.

Her book functions in a similar way: It’s a continuation of the show and takes awkward situations that occur in everyday life—everything from dating to work to friendships—and teaches you how to navigate them by diffusing the awkwardness.
